The Meeting Place is a gathering space for these chosen individuals to explore the journey of finding their honesty through movement. By first giving to ourselves we extend the offering to our communities hoping to discover how to build a better way forward. A site-specific dance/theatre work co-created by Esie Mensah and Raechele Lovell encourages communities to give to themselves, before extending the offering to our communities. Our hope is that we discover how to build a better way forward. We ask the dance artist and audience to step forward in integrity, love, honesty and forgiveness. A new work centered in liberation and exploration, director, choreographer, dancer Esie Mensah and choreographer, dancer and director of DiverseWorks Dance Co., Raechele Lovell.
